Pure Montana Tales (PMT) features educational and informative speakers on issues important to citizens of the Clearwater and Blackfoot Valleys held six times annually.
Sponsored jointly by Clearwater Resource Council and the Blackfoot Challenge, PMT topics have included Surviving in the Wildnerness, the Geology of the Crown of the Continent, Forest Health and Wildfire Awareness and a Wildlife Camera Film Festival. We are open to suggestions to from the Community.
Started back in 2015, Clearwater Partners Workshops try to go beyond informational presentations, often encouraging participants to get out and about. Past topics have included hunting information, gardening tips, animal tracking in the winter, and information on having homes increase their chances of surviving a wildfire.
Celebrate the Clearwater (CtC) is our annual celebration of life and the natural world in our scenic watershed. This summer event combines activities that celebrate our area's beauty and recreational opportunities combined with reports on the state of the forests, streams, rivers and lakes in our watershed. Partnering with agencies and others doing watershed work, this event helps to point to strategic areas that need attention and help motivate the agencies and NGOs to move towards a mutual goal.
